Thank you for your referral. In order to not have to cancel a surgery upon arrival at our hospital, we require a CBC/chemistry from the referring veterinarian within 2 weeks of surgery, and a statement from the veterinarian that no dermatitis/pyoderma is present either generally or, most importantly, at the surgical site.
